Tech Editing by Eleanor Dixon

I am an ardent knitter, a detail hound, a puzzle solver, an organization freak, a perfectionist in recovery.  All of these attributes, along with my gifts for visualizing instructions and communicating clearly and succinctly, explain my knack for and love of tech editing.  Whether you have a complete pattern which just needs reviewing by fresh eyes, an "almost there" pattern in need of tweaking, or a rough draft requiring some serious reading, 'riting, and 'rithmetic, I'm available to help you get your pattern cleaned up, off your desk, and on their needles.

I have enjoyed a thriving tech editing business for ten years, having been a lifelong knitter.  My edited projects range from a simple camera strap to a full-length cabled coat, and pretty much everything in between. I work primarily with independent designers, but also count indie dyers, retailers, and publishers among my clients. For additional information, availability and rates, please contact me here.

  • check or provide imperial/metric conversions for yardage & measurements
